Now through December 1: Support our Lovelight Campaign to help BRC keep the Forever Family Promise—ensuring residents always have a place to call home.

Now Scheduling: Info Sessions on Community Needs Assessment Project

In 2019, Bridgewater Retirement Community (BRC) teamed up with Valley Program for Aging Services (VPAS) and Holleran, an independent research and consulting firm, to conduct an in-depth Senior Community Needs Assessment for the Harrisonburg, Rockingham and Augusta County areas. The project is the first ever to take a comprehensive look at the experiences and challenges of our region’s 65-and-over population. Armed with the results, our community leaders will be able to do a better job of providing services that support the best possible quality of life for people as they age.

BRC plans to share the results, analysis, and recommendations with the community at large. Beginning March 16, 2020, BRC team members will be traveling the area presenting this valuable information to the public as part of our Speakers’ Bureau. Our goal is to bring attention to the needs of seniors in the community and challenge local government, health providers, service providers and other nonprofit organizations to work together creatively to meet these needs.

If your organization is interested in learning more about this incredible resource, please contact Tammy Jordan at tjordan@brcliving.org to schedule a speaker. We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you.

To remain eligible for the Home No Matter What Promise, residents must fulfill their obligations in turn as citizens of the BRC community and not give away the resources needed to meet financial obligations to BRC.
